Australian singer songwriter Jacob Butler has signed multiple European record deals that will see his debut album REASON, released in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Poland and Bulgaria later this year. Hamburg based indie label, Very Us Records has signed Jacob to a three-album deal in Germany, Switzerland and Austria (GSA). Very Us will release REASON on August 27 this year, with a European promotional tour to follow in September. Dennis Grim – Head of A&R and Marketing at Very Us Records enthused, “We’re very proud to welcome Jacob Butler, he is an outstanding songwriter and bandleader, and his guitar-driven, seasonable repertoire fits perfectly with our roster”. Jacob has also signed a licensing deal with Universal Music Poland, who plan to release REASON in Poland and Bulgaria later this year. The European signings follow Jacob’s debut single COME MY WAY peaking at number 47 on the mainstream German radio charts, and his self-directed video amassing over 220,000 views on YouTube since its January release. “I’m very excited to be gaining some traction in Europe” says Jacob. “The combined potential audience of these territories reaches over 150 million people, with Germany alone ranked as the world’s third largest music market.” Record Label: Very Us Records Style: Rock/Pop
