Norway's Petter Carlsen returns with his third album Sirens released on Function Records. From Alta, far up north in Norway, Petter Carlsen continues to make his beautifully personal and atmospheric music, reflecting the cold, dark and wild surroundings of the north. His debut album ou Go Bird' was released in 2009, with his second - "Clocks Don't Count" - following in 2011. This new album reveals a slight change of course, containing more rhythmical and electronic elements but it's the strength of Petter's voice that captivates the listener. His second album "Clocks Don't Count" was produced by Christer André Cederberg and came out in Norway in 2011. This follow up is released across Europe now. Atmospheric, melodic and loaded with contrasting dynamics these beautiful pop songs are brought to life by Petter's incredible voice and helped along the way with guest vocal performances from Norwegian singer songwriter Unni Wilhelmsen and Anathema frontman Vincent Cavanagh.
