Dethrone is a Thrash/Death Metal band from Värnamo, Sweden. The Band was formed in June 2011 and they recorded their first demo in September the very same year at HoboRec Studios. The demo got them selected as the best band of Sweden in the swedish magazine Close-Up and they got a spot at the Metal Town Festival in Gothenburg the next summer, only one year after the band was born. They have been opening for band such as Unleashed, Nominon and many more, and many of shows are already booked for 2013. Dethrone is band that wants to be distanced from the new wave of metalcore and deathcore. Instead they are focusing to play more straight forward, intensive and aggressive metal, insired by bands such as early The Haunted, The Cown, Defleshed, Witchery and more..
