Drifter "in 2016 marked the return of the First Breah After Coma to the discs, with rooms full in Leiria, Porto, Coimbra and Lisbon, with the collaboration of guests like Noiserv and André Barros and, after acclaimed by critics, earned them New entrances where they punctuate passages in rooms such as Theatro Circo, CCB, Casa da Música and a main stage in the Paredes de Coura Festival. Outside, they mark cities like Madrid, Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam and London and are selected to represent Portugal at the Reeperbahn festivals And Eurosonic. As they quietly begin to prepare new works, they are already planning to return to the UK, perform at Primavera Sound and two more international tours with rooms and festivals. When they released a debut album in 2013 they were far from thinking that tracks like "Escape", "Shoes For Men With No Feet" or "Apnea" could reach international radio stations and take them to an extended tour with a stop at festivals Like the Bons Sons or the Spanish Monkey Week. The crossroads of post-rock influence with the song format that made his record an auspicious surprise was just the beginning of a journey that now has a second chapter. They closed for months on end to work from morning to evening on experiences. They recorded sounds of almost everything that surrounded them, lost themselves in the discographies of the evolution of rock and electronic music and the result called "Drifter" carries the dna of the First Breath After Coma but points even more ways to the present and to the future Of this young Leyriense formation. "Salty Eyes" was the first single, with video of Vasco Mendes, which was followed by "Umbrae". "Drifter" was partially fan-financed through a crowdfunding and so even the participants were the first to have access to the album and pre-concert concerts and responded in a massive way. The album was produced by the band itself with Filipe Rocha (Sean Riley &
The Slowriders / The Allstar Project), was recorded at the studios Valentim de Carvalho with Nelson Carvalho and mixed and mastered by Paulo Mouta Pereira with the band itself.
