Markus Harm was born in 1987 in Stuttgart and spent his childhood and youth in Nagold and Tübingen. In the years 2008 to 2015 he studied jazz saxophone at the Nuremberg Academy of Music with Klaus Graf, Hubert Winter and Steffen Schorn. He was also a member of the Federal Jazz Orchestra and has played numerous jazz prizes home, for example, the soloist prize of the national competition "Jugend jazzt". Markus Harm is active throughout Germany as a bandleader and as a sideman in large and small ensembles: with the Persian band Alamto around the percussionist Hadi Alizadeh, Rebecca Treschers Ensemble 11, the Michael Binder Sextet, the band Harmzone, the Sunday Night Orchestra, the Groove Legend Orchestra, the Tobias Becker Big Band, the Dusko Goykovich Munich Big Band and the Jazz Big Band Association under the direction of Axel Kühn.
