Melodic death metallers Incassum, based in Manchester (UK), are to release their debut full length album "Rite Of Passage" on Rocksector Records on 19th November 2012. Combining the brutal with the sublime, Incassum transcend the pigeon holes and sub genres of the heavy metal style. Since the bands inception in 2004, they have become key players in the Manchester heavy music scene and have taken their unique brand of extreme music all over the UK and Ireland's gig circuits, sharing bills with acts such as 'Blaze Bayley', 'Forever Never' and 'Breed 77'. Their first release on Casket Music, 'In Vain' in 2008 received some great reviews including a 4 'K' rating in prestigious magazine Kerrang!. A couple of years and line-up changes later, and Incassum continue to hone their craft and 2011 was a remarkable year for the group. The recording of a new album began and a 9 date Terrorizer Magazine sponsored tour of the UK with fellow Mancunian progressive metallers 'Spires' has earned them many more fans and praise from the press.
