A legend in Austrian postpunk and New Wave! "Europa" and "Kennst Du Den Weg Nach Heiligenstadt" from the legendary "Körperteile" and "Heimat Bist Du großer Söhne" compilations are the only tracks ever to be published by the Vienna based Westblock. Active around 1981-3 the band recorded tons of material, none of which ever saw the light of day. In 2012, this important band finally presents its first album. A collection of Austrian Wave music, No Wave rather than New Wave, remade and remodelled for fresher sound. All compositions date back to their first incarnation though.
