That album is to be reissued as a five-disc 20th anniversary deluxe edition in September, complete with hardcover book. Bernard Butler himself has remastered the album from the original tapes, and the new set comes with 15-track bonus CD of demos, remixes, single versions along with some tracks from a BBC radio session. A DVD (NTSC, no region restrictions) contains promos, BBC TV appearances, new 2015 acoustic sessions and a new hour-long interview with Bernard and David discussing the making of the album. This anniversary deluxe includes the original album pressed on 180g vinyl and a bonus 12-inch vinyl with the two singles Yes and You Do plus the demos of both on the flipside.

In early 1995, Bernard Butler started searching for someone to sing a new composition of his. After some false starts, he was paired with David McAlmont, and they recorded the instant classic "Yes", a number 8 hit in May that year. Follow-up single "You Do" went Top 20, and the album followed in November. For this 20th anniversary deluxe book set edition of this much-loved classic, the album has been remastered by Bernard Butler himself from the original tapes, along with a 15 track bonus CD of demos, remixes, single versions and a BBC radio session. The album is also presented on 180 gram vinyl LP, along with a four track 12" single, and a 32 page book of notes and photos. The DVD showcases the promo videos for 'Yes' and 'You Do', as well as the duo's three appearances on Top Of The Pops, and their legendary appearance on Later… with Jools Holland. In the Bonus Features, filmed in June 2015, David and Bernard discuss the writing and recording of the album for an hour, and then perform acoustic versions of three songs.

Volume One of Under The Covers was originally issued back in 2006 with the most recent release dating from 2013. Suede’s second album, originally released in October 1994, often has the word “masterpiece” attached to it. A dazzling album, its creation brought about the end of the band’s original line-up, with Bernard Butler departing before the album was finished. Suede decided to stay together following their ‘one-off’ 2010 concert for Teenage Cancer Trust. When asked by the charity to perform again at the Royal Albert Hall in March 2014, the band took the opportunity to play “Dog Man Star” in its entirety, accompanied by a string section. For the hour-long encore, the band played four “Dog Man Star” b-sides, and then delighted the audience further by playing a selection of their greatest hits. The two-hour concert is presented across four 12” LPs and also on two CDs, in a large photo-album style book that also contains 32 pages of Paul Khera’s stunning photography from the concert. Alongside a lengthy review of the concert by journalist Mark Beaumont, Brett Anderson has written a special note for this release.

The CD Singles 1986-2014, a 28CD collection that gathers up the various B-sides and additional mixes that were issued across the different formats of each single released in the US and UK. This starts with the early IRS singles Mad About You, I Feel The Magic and Band of Gold before digging in to the period of transatlantic success enjoyed by the 45s from Belinda’s Heaven On Earth album (Heaven is a Place on Earth, I Get Weak, Circle in the Sand etc.) before working through the singles from the three further Virgin/MCA albums (Runaway Horses, Live Your Life Be Free and Real). All the singles pulled from the Chrysalis album A Woman And A Man are present and correct (most of these weren’t originally issued in the US) and disc number 28 combines the songs Sun and Goodbye Just Go which were exclusive to different hits compilations either side of the Atlantic (Icon and The Collection). But there’s more… did I say 28 discs? Make that 29 since a bonus CD at the end includes some edits and mixes and the much requested track In My Wildest Dreams which featured in the 1987 film Mannequin. Apparently, Belinda’s management team have finally located a master and supplied to Edsel. This box set will be available via Amazon and the usual channels (soon) but exclusive to the Belinda Carlisle Store are 500 of these box sets with a numbered card SIGNED by Belinda.

Edsel continue their superb curation of Bananarama‘s back catalogue with what is probably the dream set for fans – a 33CD Singles box with a disc devoted to each 45 that includes “absolutely every B-side and remix originally issued around the world” along with many previously unavailable instrumentals and other rarities. In A Bunch – The Singles 1981 – 1993 includes every single released by the girl group during their London Records tenure, from their 1981 debut Aie A Mwana to 1993’s More, More, More, and includes sought-after overseas releases He’s Got Tact, King Of The Jungle and The Wild Life. Each remastered CD single is presented in an individual card sleeve replicating the original vinyl artwork. Although overlap with the album reissues and Megarama is inevitable, remarkably this new box is set to contain over a hundred tracks not included in any of the previous Edsel releases. The box set will also includes a 48-page booklet featuring full lyrics, discography and new sleeve notes (plus fold-out double-sided mini poster, sticker sheet and postcard set) and has been put together by Tom Parker who worked on the previous releases, with the co-operation of Sara and Keren.
