Daring to go where no other group has gone before, Belgian act Blind Seer live up to the experimental metal tag on "Apocalypse 2.0". With influences ranging from industrial to jazz, alternative to classic metal, and a bit of electronic/outer space themes in between, it's little wonder that these 12 songs may cause a bit of motion sickness. Repetitive drum beats against cold keyboard pitch bends gives "Revolution" this Nine Inch Nails meets U2/Depeche Mode feel, the guitar ringing as strange as the occasional rap vocals. Asthar handles guitars, bass, synth, and theremin, while J-Mo as a drummer gives a respectable performance considering the varied, left-field arrangements and ideas on display. Wan's vocals can be rhythmic, or often an alternative to the proceedings - making for awkward train wreck moments during "Total War", but working effectively during the Voivod-ish meets 8-bit "Spirit in the Machine". Marilyn Manson and Fear Factory would be proud of the dark industrial overtones that penetrate "My Mind Can't Feel", while the David Bowie cover "Starman" that closes "Apocalypse 2.0" gets a Blind Seer makeover between the additional guitar/keyboard loops and the unique phrasing/delivery vocally. Blind Seer are cut from a different cloth - and will not sound like anything you expect. That can be to the good in establishing a fresh take on metal - as the fringes gravitate towards something special, something different. In the end, the aural stew approach doesn't click well to these ears, as it's tough to latch onto the hooks when everything seems more about experimentation as the overriding benchmark for musical achievement

JOTNAR is an aggressive melodic death metal band, formed by Ben Melero and Elhadji N’Diaye, which made its live debut in late 2008 with the following line-up: Ben Melero (git), Elhadji N’Diaye (git), Eduardo Rodriguez (vox), Jeremias Lobos (drums) and Luis Henriquez (bass). Several line-up changes in the following years kept the band away from the stage but at the same time it allowed them to reinvent their sound. With the addition of the new members Misael Montesdeoca (vox), Jose „Xurro“ Rodríguez (drums) and Octavio Santana (bass), they signed with Murdered Music/Coroner Records to release their EP „Giant“, which was released in March 2012. JOTNAR is a raging, devastating force on stage, and their ability to perfectly capture and recreate the main essence of the studio recordings live, is one of the reasons why they are recruiting new fans after every show. JOTNAR have already played a lot of shows all around Europe, from small venues to big festivals, delivering a solid and powerful live performance, which paved the way to a few of the most important metal festivals in Europe, like Metalcamp/MetalDays in Slovenia, RockBitch Boat in Sweden or Villa de Bilbao in Spain. BORNHOLM was founded in 2000 by guitarist Sahsnot (Péter Sallai) - who was known as Astaroth until 2009 - in Szerencs, North Hungary. In 2001 and after a few changes, the band got the opportunity to record the first demo EP „Awakening Of The Ancient Ones“, which was self-released in 2002. The debut album „...On The Way Of Hunting The Moon“ followed in 2005 and was released on the French label Melancholia Records, and distributed by labels such as Nuclear Blast, Century Media, Red Stream or Napalm Records. The band shot a video for the song „Acheron“, and was the opening act for bands like Arcturus, Mayhem or Enslaved. The follow-up album, „March For Glory And Revenge“, was recorded in 2007/2008 with Viktor Sheer, who‘s already worked with well known bands like Ektomorf, Sear Bliss, Rise or Forest Silence in the past. The album was released in November 2009 on the legendary Dutch label VIC Records. The album was also accompanied by a video for the song „Dreams Of Ages“. The line-up of BORMHOLM was once again updated in order to put more energy into their live shows. A split vinyl EP with Nydvind was released on the French label Ancestrale Production in 2011. Right after signing to NoiseArt Records, BORNHOLM started working on their third full-length album „Inexorable Defiance“, which was then released in January 2013. Following the release, the band joined Ex Deo, Thyrfing, Alestorm, Arkona and Wolfchant on the European Paganfest tour. Later in 2013, BORNHOLM also played at Germany‘s Beastival (now Out & Loud Festival) and Denmark‘s Copenhell. Besides playing several live shows in Denmark and Germany, a mini tour with Skyforger in Germany/Hungary/Czech Republic and an appearance at the Barther Metal Open Air, BORNHOLM started working on their upcoming album „Primaeval Pantheons“ in 2014. Sahsnot acted as vocalist and guitarist of the band, before he started working with a lot of session musicians. The upcoming album „Primaeval Pantheons“ was recorded with the following line-up: Sahsnot, D and Hjules. In 2015, BORNHOLM also went on a mini tour with Thyrfing and Skogen in Germany/Belgium/France. Hjules left the band to focus on his work and family, and Vozargh joined forces with Sear Bliss. Guitarist Attila from the Hungarian death/black metal outfit Tesstimony and bassist Carrion, who was part of the classic Tormentor line-up, then joined Sahsnot and D, and completed the current BORNHOLM line-up. BORNHOLM signed with Massacre Records in August 2016, and will release the new album „Primaeval Pantheons“ on December 2, 2016. Carry the shadowless flame!

AETERNITAS was founded in 1999 by Anja and Alexander Hunzinger. The first and very well received concept album „requiem“ followed in August 2000, combining a variety of different stylistic elements - from classical music to metal - and Latin lyrics. The second album „La Danse Macabre“, released in 2004, combined contemporary gothic metal with classical, electronic and theatrical influences. This unique symbiosis of various musical genres led to the band‘s dark and melancholic sound which can best be described as Gothic Theatre Metal. These two concept albums paved the way for the subsequent evolution of AETERNITAS and their next album, the gothic musical „Rappacinis Tochter“ („Rappaccini‘s Daughter“). This was AETERNITAS’ gift to the gothic and metal Scene, and to the German musical enthusiasts in general: their very own gothic musical. „Rappacinis Tochter“ was performed live on stage more than 50 times between 2008 and 2011, and the album „Rappacinis Tochter - Highlights“ received an award as „Best Musical Album“ at the German Rock and Pop Prize in 2008. Since 2012, AETERNITAS have been working on their new concept album „House Of Usher“, based on the famous short story „The Fall of the House of Usher“ by Edgar Allan Poe. For this album, AETERNITAS display a modern symphonic metal sound with complex orchestral arrangements, groovy rock parts and, of course, the strong & catchy voices of Alma Mathar and Oliver Bandmann. Over the course of various live shows in clubs and at festivals, AETERNITAS already presented their new songs to their audience successfully. The lyric video for the song „Madeline“, off the new album, will be released in September 2016. The complete album will be released on October 21, 2016 via Massacre Records.
