Anyone who has closely followed the turbulent development of this Ruhrpott legend since the founding, knows exactly about the always upright and loyal attitude of the inflexible legation. When Black Messiah came to the public in 1992, the Metal world was still quite different from what it currently is. But to this day the singing leader Zagan, with his guitar, violin and titanic passion, kept his unswerving ideals Iron firmly. And what began boldly as an innovative-folkish Pagan Black Metal and then, over the years, led more and more into classic, highly epic Pagan Metal with a Power Metal flair, which now flows into "Walls Of Vanaheim". On this seventh album, the six-headed formation celebrates all the characteristics and, above all, the virtues of its own, moody style. And this is done with exceptionally sublime songwriting, which is combined with pure power, biting endurance and original ideas. "Walls Of Vanaheim" marks the second conceptual album Part of the exciting story, which was first reported with the 2009 "First War Of The World". Thematic is all about the second Vanenkrieg. Triggered by the murder of Odin's friend, the giant Mime, the Ases moved from Valhalla to Vanheim to lay the city in ruins. A violent, multi-day battle begins and in the end one side is destroyed. Black Messiah stage this exciting spectacle with their martial-brave, unmistakably melodic soundtrack. Masculine, but thoroughly thought-out music, which is just as inevitable as it often drives under the skin: Martialischwuertung, uniquely rough, touching emotionally and full of individual beauty - Black Messiah from the very best! For atmospheric heights, Tom Zahner, the capable, high-pitched synchro-talker, is the result of a multi-faceted songwriting. Black Messiah have already won him on the albums "First War Of The World" and "Final Journey" as a fitting narrator for their sophisticated sound art. The new Axeman Donar, which has been added to Gelsenkirchen's heathen, makes a name for itself as well as a wonderful thundering power-riffing. And when Donar has his heroic throat sounded in the fantastic "Satifaction &
Revenge", you will inevitably think of Blind Guardian! Black Messiah show with the triumphant "Walls Of Vanaheim" very impressively, that the Pagan-Puste does not run out for a long time
