Der Weg einer Freiheit - Unstille

DER WEG EINER FREIHEIT was born in February 2009 when Nikita Kamprad and Tobias Jaschinsky released their self titled debut record. The basic idea of the band and the first musical material, however, existed for a year and a half prior to that, after the founding fathers'band FROSTGRIM had split up, but the urge to discover themselves via melodic and athmosperic black metal music and texts was still present. The first pressing (200 pieces) of the first release were sold on the band's homepage and sold out within a month. After the songwriting for the second full lenght was finished by the end of 2011, the decision was made to go to the Tonstudio Würzburg in February/March 2012 to capture 'Unstille'. Thereby the band decided to do the entire production themselves, including all instrumental and vocal recordings as well as mix and master.Then shortly after the band signed to Viva Hate Records to re-record and re-release the self titled album and an EP release in 2011, AGONIE.
