After their killer debut full-lenght on HIGH ROLLER RECORDS last year, the atomic warriors from Hell aka BUNKER 66 are back on DOOMENTIA! Hold your fire though, 'Out of the Bunker' ain't no new material but a long-awaited reissue of their vey first official release, originally through REINIG RECORDS back in 2009. With the trio having just completed work on their next full-lenght already (to be called 'Screaming Rock Believers'), the time is just right to revisit the band's earliest days. Five years ago, Bone Incinerator (guitar), Damien Thorne (bass & vocals) and Desekrator of the Altar (drums) were already storming at the gates of heaven with their primitive and evil blend of old-school thrash and black-metal, with outrageous songtitles like Radioactive Bath or A Can of Zyklon Please that leaves little room for interpretation. In six tracks and twenty minutes, BUNKER 66 did lay the (evil) foundations for what was to come and haven't deviated from their initial course since then. Now officially re-released on LP by your faithful DOOMENTIA, thanks to 'Out of the Bunker' it's once again time to raise the flag of hate. Thrash 'til death! Record Label: Doomentia Style: Metal

Good ol’ Goethe said it right: We are all pilgrims who seek Italy – well, even if you don’t give a shit about classic authors, you should have Italy on your map of (blackened) Thrash Metal. Bunker 66 from Messina keep the flame alive that was kindled by their countrymen Bulldözer, Schizo and Necrodeath, to name just a few. Formed in 2007, the band released their debut album Infernö Interceptörs via High Roller Records in 2012, which was aptly described as such: Motörhead and very early black metal, that's the formula that went into this record. – As Bunker 66 call their music Black Speed Metal they should easily agree on that? Drummer Deskrator of the Altar does so: Yeah! We are not great fans of labelling music, but ‘Black Speed Metal’ fits our mood. ‘Infernö Inceptörs’ was very well received, our audience remembers the riffs and the refrains, so it seems that those songs have left a mark in the morbid minds of those obsessed with this kind of metal. The debut sold out quickly – no need to cry though, as their sophomore record is made from just the same kind of stuff – or at least quite, according to Desekrator: Maybe it has even become a little bit sleazy this time? Let's face it, BUNKER66 and BARBARIAN have more in common than most: both bands are Italians, both are power-trios whose music is rooted in the 80's heavy/thrash scene, both have been officially endorsed by Fenriz from DARKTHRONE in his 'band of the week' blog andboth bands have had releases on DOOMENTIA before. Oh yeah and born under the sign of the black mark, they both have the kind of 'fuck off' attitude that would make any emo fans weep! So this partnering wasn't simply due to happen, it HAD to become reality. So there you go, 25 minutes of glorious black/thrash/punk and whatever for all those warriors to headbang to until you bleed. A glorious throwback to CELTIC FROST and VENOM (BARBARIAN) but also DISCHARGE, BULLDOZER and SODOM (BUNKER66) performed and produced the way it always should be! And to make the whole thing even more special, as an extra, both acts are paying tribute to their elders. While BUNKER66 have resurrected from the grave "Psychopharmax Convulsions" originally committed to tape by the obscure Italian hardcore band CONVULSED waaaaay back in 1988 and blasted here in less than 53 seconds, BARBARIAN have chosen "Murder Angels" by the legendary DEATH SS, originally released in 1981 on "Horned god of the witches demo".
