Nottingham-based synth-guitar/bass-drums trio CANTALOUPE release their debut 4-track "Teapot EP. Formed from the ashes of instrumental post-rock heroes SOUVARIS, CANTALOUPE make infectious and thoroughly pleasing instrumental pop music. It opens with the title track, "Teapot": a joyous, bubbling delight with metronomic drums, bouncing bass and lush layers of synth. "Hubbub" is soaring and stylish, atmospheric and anthemic.
