For all friends of Gaslight Anthem, Hot Water Music or Against Me! we have something great here: Cold Years from Aberdeen will release their debut album "Paradise" on May 8th. And three great singles can already be heard from it. Listening to the songs, it quickly becomes clear who Cold Years was musically influenced by: "I grew up with Rancid and Green Day, bands like Bad Religion and the Ramones meant a real explosion for me," says singer Ross Gordon. The songs do not only deal with personal dramas, they are about a whole generation on the brink of the abyss, in a kingdom shaken by brexite and political elite, as you can hear in "62 (My Generation's Falling Apart)".
