DRAGONSFIRE are from Hessen, Germany, have been on a crusade in heavy/true metal since 2005 and now present their first self-forged longplayer "Visions Of Fire". This would set the key data and you can go into medias res with "Devil's Road", a custom-made debut which is the highlight time of ACCEPT/U. D. O. and other teutonic colleagues. The following "Wings Of Death" can do even more and offers everything that should make a real heavy metal-cracker: crisp, catchy riffs, choruses to kneel down and roaring high, riding high on my burning wings! along with classical metal solos and melody lines. The band hymn "Dragonsfire Rockxxx" does exactly that and makes you want to drink beer and shake your head, as well as "Burning For Metal", another true metal hymn, which even the colleagues of MAJESTY couldn't have done much better, full pot of cliché and pathos lyrics, but live definitely a guarantor for flying hair/beer mugs and stretched fists. Rebellion - The Kingdom Of Heaven "then sounds old ICED EARTH and RUNNING WILD, with the rest of the record one positions oneself quite steadily between PARAGON, IRON SAVIOR, POWERGOD, GAMMA RAY and the remaining suspects in the matter of Teuton metal. Although the Riedstadt dragon riders do trim some of the target groups and styles of the Riedstadt dragon riders for rhyming catchiness and the ability to sing along with their fellow riders even after seven beers, the fact that verse measurement and toenails often curl up, and towards the end the steel quality also starts to drop a bit, but otherwise there is not much to complain about for a debut. With "Visions Of Fire" DRAGONSFIRE is on the one hand a true Teutonic Metal Manifesto and on the other hand the full droning of blunt and true-metallic clichéd drudgery succeeded, but just like MANOWAR or their little brothers in spirit, MAJESTY, you either like it or not at all.
