FIELD HARMONICS is the new solo project of EPIC45's Rob Glover. Taking musical influence from 80s synth-pop and electronica he listened to as a child, he evokes the magic he felt then with his use of infectious melody, strong synths, bold vocal delivery and driving rhythms, whilst adding some trademark subtlety in the form of gentle, abstract chord shifts and whimsical lyrics. Driven by a very personal shift for Glover from the rural landscape of his childhood to the post-industrial ruins of a nearby city, Glover's first solo album, Walls rests at the point where these two landscapes meet. Fans of DEPECHE MODE, PET SHOP BOYS and NEW ORDER will hear the influence throughout these recordings, whilst still retaining an overall production and attention to detail that is thoroughly modern.
