The Lonely Bird is the second Hi-Lo & In Between album. The Lonely Bird is a wonderful album and the band Hi-Lo & In Between deserves a lot of credit for creating this warm and gentle folk treasure. The third album by the Finnish HI-LO & IN BETWEEN wonderfully charmed with longing folk / singer-songwriter sound. "We Are Not The Wind" is released as CD in digipack Format at BESTE! UNTERHALTUNG. Founded in 2007, the quartet grew by singer, guitarist and (main) songwriter JUHA Mäki-Patola a year later, his debut album "White Whale" before, the 2010 was followed by "The Lonely Bird." The mostly acoustic with bass, violin, mandolin and guitar (plus Fender Rhodes and organ) instrumented ten songs are characterized by a yearning atmosphere and rapt silence, wallowing in the quartet masterfully understands. Only rarely does the feeling flashes unload in loud passages - but the emotional intensity that can only be more noticeable, especially when Liina Mäki-Patola starts to sing with.
