METALHEAD are young, careless and cherish tradition. They carry the work of the 70s and 80s Heavy Metal Heroes in their hearts, and revive what has been forgotten by many other musicians nowadays. They play riff-laden Heavy Metal with a focus on the word "song", while trying to avoid technical gimmicks like keyboards. The eight tracks resemble the work of bands like Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Manowar or Mercyful Fate. They play their music the way fans of the genre still love it: they don't give in to modern influences or stylistic mishmash. The recordings aren't watered down by studio engineering, the band concentrates on whats really essential: good Heavy Metal-songs in their purest form! The expert bows before the displayed craftsmanship, as not many are able to create what METALHEAD have created.
