Murs and Fashawn have announced their collaborative album This Generation. The album, which will be produced entirely by Beatnick and K-Salaam, represents “an amalgamation of all the different styles and eras,” says Murs. The choice to go with the production duo for the project is because of their unique sound. “They bring a brand new sound. We couldn’t picture any other producers. They could do an instrumental solo as a third verse and you wouldn’t be mad,” says Fashawn. So far, the duo has released “Slash Gordon” from the project and will drop its music video that features the two emcees in a rocket ship acting as “Hip Hop angels trying to save the world.” Record Label: Duck Down Style: Hip Hop
