NANU NANU are Galway gothic queen Laura Sheeran (Ed Sheeran's artistic dynamo of a cousin, who the Sunday Times Culture magazine called the Irish Bjork) and Oxford-born Marc Aubele (who has been playing synth for BellX1 for four years). NANU NANU got together just over a year ago and spent their first 12 months experimenting with sounds and playing more than 100 gigs across Ireland the UK and impressing audiences with their startling light and stage show. The pair then recorded their ten-track album Unit One, using analogue and modular synths and a TC-Helicon voice processor, in their own multi-media studio. The result is an exciting and diverse concept album packed with innovative beats and soaring melodic anthems.
