Formed in 2010, Skarlett Riot, release their full-length debut album Tear Me Down. The album is the follow up from their 2012 EP Villain. Despite the bands inception only a few years ago, this sounds like the production of a band that has had years of practice honing their craft. Their tight, polished performance on this album has something of a Slither circa Velvet Revolver feel – a band made up of rock ‘n’ roll veterans. While instantly comparable to rock’s current most famous female fronted band, Paramore, Skarlett Riot, though having Paramore-esque moments, rock a little harder and their guitar riffs are a little dirtier.
