The Samsa Dilemma project started in April 2016. Riccardo Pro, joined by guitarist Daniel Sartori and programming expert Marco Ober, begins recording a new album, which features experimental-noise guitarist Enrico Merlin, Vanessa Cremaschi on violin, and maestro Enrico Dal Fovo on piano. In 2017 they are joined by Fabrizio Costantino on bass and Fabrizio Keller on drums. The opening for one of the most famous classics of international literature suggests the name of the band: the dilemma of a man, Gregor Samsa, who goes to bed at night to wake up in the morning – after troubled dreams – transformed into a hideous insect.Am I still a man in some way or did I became a monster? This is the dilemma faced by the entire mankind, while unleashing the most terrible tragedies in history; a matter which is often underrated. Sadly, this dilemma is not just based in history: it is something imposed on us by the current times we are living, too. A full home-recording album, whose title shows the will to wake up Gregor from “The Metamorphosis” before it is too late. By any means necessary, as the mood changes in the tracklist may suggest. Symbolically, of course, because the wake-up call to salvation and a new humanism is directed to the listener, whoever he or she may be
