As the name of the newest album "The Expedition" implies, Tengger Cavalry explores much deeper into its own musical characteristics – Throat Singing vocal line, Horse Head Fiddle melody, Dombra plucking and Pentatonic Modes, along with heavy distortion. Different from the previous album Sunesu Cavalry that tends to be very heavy, "The Expedition" has a more natural balance between heavy metal and folk.
