The album reached No. 14 on the Swedish albums chart, No. 60 on the US Billboard 200, and received a nomination for Best Rock Instrumental Performance at the 1986 Grammy Awards. It is regarded as a seminal release in the shred and neoclassical metal genres. Steve Huey at AllMusic gave Rising Force four stars out of five, calling it 'a revelation upon its release' and 'the true inauguration of the age of the guitar shredder'. He praised Malmsteen's technique and 'blinding virtuosity', as well as highlighting 'his obsessions with Bach, Beethoven, and Paganini'. In a 2009 article by Guitar World magazine, Rising Force was ranked first in the all-time top ten list of shred albums. The staff wrote: 'Yngwie J. Malmsteen was, is, and always will be the greatest shredder of all time. Hell, he invented the genre with his debut.' "Black Star" and "Far Beyond the Sun" have endured as two of Malmsteen's most popular songs, as well as being staples of his live setlist. In a 2008 Guitar World interview, Malmsteen said of the two songs: I'll probably play "Far Beyond the Sun" and "Black Star" until the day I die.

The release also notably includes collaborative work with musicians Cassie Taylor and Otis Taylor. Bad For You Baby is the last studio album recorded by Moore, who sadly passed away on 6 February 2011. The album received positive critical reviews from publications such as Allmusic. Moore released many brilliant blues albums during his career and Bad For You Baby is up there with the best of them. This remastered vinyl edition includes a bonus LP only track "Picture on the wall". Available on coloured vinyl for the first time, 1500 copies are individually numbered and pressed on transparent blue vinyl.

The album expanded upon the sound of the band's debut, L.D. 50, with a more versatile range of sounds, dynamic, moods and vocalization. The band wrote the album's songs in less than a month, drawing inspiration from their self-imposed isolation during the songwriting process, and crafted a more mature sound which drew from jazz and progressive rock influences, as well as elements of death metal and thrash metal. Vocalist Chad Gray said "The making of The End of All Things to Come was an exercise in deadline management for the band. We didn't want to take much more than two years between albums and since we were on the road for such a long time that really didn't leave us with a whole lot of time to make this record. We wrote and rehearsed for four months and then spent another four months to record and master the entire album. The pressure made us focus instead of fold." With the creation of the album's artwork, Mudvayne hoped to create the band's "black album". The deluxe jacket contains a special UV spot varnish on both in and outside of the gatefold. Though he avoided the limelight (being temperamentally averse to celebrity), his influence as a musical artist has been widely acknowledged by artists like Mark Knopfler, Neil Young, and Eric Clapton, who described him as one of the most important artists in the history of rock. J.J. Cale is considered to be one of the originators of the Tulsa Sound, a loose genre drawing on blues, rockabilly, country, and jazz. Cale unfortunately passed away in 2013, but his legacy lives on. Number 10 is Cale's 10th album and contains another wonderful and laid back/mellow collection of typical J.J. Cale tunes. "Traces", "Artificial Paradise", "Low Rides" and "Jailes" are considered part of his best 1990s songs. 180 GRAM AUDIOPHILE VINYL FIRST PRESSING OF 750 NUMBERED COPIES PRESSED ON ORANGE VINYL This classic album from 1973 saw its creator, Lee 'Scratch' Perry exploring synths and starting to develop his Black Ark sound - the enigmatic producer was at the time in the process of building his famous studio and honing his ideas about dub as a musical form. The LP opens with the eerie "Kentucky Skank", Perry's ode to KFC, complete with frying chicken sounds, spliced between winding tapes, a ghostly trumpet, and futuristic moog synthesizer, overdubbed at London's Chalk Farm studios. U Roy's "Double Six" and I Roy's "High Fashion" and "Hail Stones" illustrate just how strong The Upsetter's deejay material had become, while versions of the Chi-Lites' "We Are Neighbours", Sam &
Dave's "Soul Man" and a re-working of Al Green's "Love and Happiness" (retitled "Jungle Lion") all betray the funky soul influence that was increasingly shaping his work. The backing tracks illustrate the producer at his best;
the audio spectrum is fully differentiated while spatial placement an important component - something it would take years for him to achieve at the Black Ark
