It includes the top 40 success "Werewolves of London", featuring Mick Fleetwood on drums and John McVie on bass. The album brought Warren to commercial attention and remains the best-selling album of his career. The tracks "Excitable Boy" and "Werewolves of London" were considered macabrely humorous by some critics. The historical "Veracruz" dramatizes the United States occupation of Veracruz, and likewise "Roland the Headless Thompson Gunner" is a fictionalization of a mercenary in Africa. "Lawyers, Guns and Money" is a tongue-in-cheek take on Cold War paranoia. In addition, there are two ballads about life and relationships ("Accidentally Like a Martyr" and "Tenderness on the Block"), as well as a dance tune ("Nighttime in the Switching Yard"). Additional musicians included in the album's creation are band members Jorge Calderón on vocals, Danny "Kootch" Kortchmar on percussion and guitar, and Russ Kunkel on drums. Among others, also Jackson Browne, Jeff Porcaro, Linda Ronstadt and Waddy Wachtel are featured as session musicians.

180 GRAM AUDIOPHILE VINYL - INSERT Family Style is a fantastic Blues Rock album by the Vaughan Brothers, released in 1990. The album features the brethren guitarists and vocalists, Jimmie and Stevie Ray Vaughan, in their only studio collaboration. In his early years, Stevie Ray Vaughan often remarked that he would like to do an album with his brother. He fulfilled that wish in his very last studio performance, which was released nearly a month after his death. The liner notes end with "Thanks Mama V. for letting us play." With slick production from Nile Rodgers and employing neither guitarist's band (Double Trouble nor the Fabulous Thunderbirds), this is bluesy, but far from purist. Jimmie makes his vocal debut on "White Boots" and "Good Texan," and the brothers blur the lines between their expected guitar styles - Stevie sometimes going for a less sustainy twang, Jimmie moving into Albert King territory.

180 GRAM AUDIOPHILE VINYL Mahogany Rush is a Canadian Rock band led by guitarist Frank Marino, whose soaring lead guitar work bears a strong resemblance to the playing of Jimi Hendrix. In the late 70's and onward, the group toured as Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush and at times is referred to simply as Frank Marino. Mahogany Rush commanded a loyal, good-sized following and provided its share of five-star albums. One of them is this live album, which was recorded during their U.S. tour in late 1977 and came out on vinyl the following year. Mahogany knew how to burn on stage, and this excellent LP really captures the vitality of its 1970s concerts. You gotta hear Frank Marino let loose on live versions of "Dragonfly", "Electric Reflections of War," and "The Answer". The band is equally captivating on sweaty performances of Jimi Hendrix's "Purple Haze," Chuck Berry's "Johnny B. Goode," and Muddy Waters' "I'm a King Bee." Live is consistently rewarding and is enthusiastically recommended to anyone into Hard Rock and classic Heavy Metal.

180 GRAM AUDIOPHILE VINYL Black Oak Arkansas is an American Southern rock band named after the band's hometown of Black Oak, Arkansas.The band reached the height of its fame in the 1970s with ten charting albums released in that decade. Their style is punctuated by multiple guitar players and the raspy voice and on-stage antics of vocalist Jim "Dandy" Mangrum. Their self-titled debut album Black Oak Arkansas was released in 1971, and is generally regarded by fans as the band's best. The record featured enduring BOA classics like "Hot And Nasty", "Lord Have Mercy On My Soul", "Uncle Lijiah" (written in pseudo-tribute to Harvey Jett's real-life great uncle) and "When Electricity Came To Arkansas", which was wrongfully accused by fundamentalist religious groups of containing backward-masked "Satanic messages" (possibly from a live performance of the song in which Mangrum utters "natas" three times). The band toured extensively, gaining a reputation as a premier live act throughout the early 0s all across America, and later even in Europe.

By the time Tony Williams left Miles Davis in 1969, he had moved even farther away from the acoustic tradition than his former employer. His first recordings with his new band, Lifetime, were characterized by the sleeve instructions: "Play it Loud!" The energy level was high and the music was infused with a Rock and Roll philosophy. Williams overpowers with his stronger sense of groove and sheer muscularity. And while he is every bit as capable of extravagant displays of technique, he always sounds musical.

Following up on their debut F.U.: Don't Take It Personal, Nervous Breakdown (1994) proved that the Fu-Schnickens could deliver the goods. The album shows an improved lyrical maturity among all three members, but most noticeably Chip Fu, whose hyperactive flow has more hilarious, colorful cartoon imagery than ever. From the opening track, "Breakdown," on, this is a frenzied, fast-paced roller coaster ride of originality that doesn't let up until the last song ends. The album reached the nineteenth spot on the R&B Albums chart, and managed to break the Billboard Album charts.

It was his first solo album after his departure from Folk-Rock group the Byrds in 1966. The album was a critical success and it established Clark as a talented singer-songwriter. This album stands as the one of the best, if not the best example of how powerful a singer, writer, and bandleader he was. The musicians on the album include his former band mates Chris Hillman and Michael Clarke, along Wrecking Crew session musicians Glen Campbell, Jerry Cole, Leon Russell and future Clark collaborator Doug Dillard. The Folk/Country vocal duo the Gosdin Brothers added backing vocals.
